Our Success Stories - Leon Sutherland
We've seen a lot of little Leon Sutherland here at the BAC! Leon is a cattle dog-mix breed that was adopted by David and Robin Sutherland from a shelter in Denver after his first owner gave him up. Leon's first trial came with a TPLO surgery on his knee, followed just one year later with another TPLO surgery on the other knee.

Leon recovered with flying colors, however two years later we discovered cancer in his right front leg. The cancer had mestacitized and we made the decision to amputate the leg in order to save his life. Leon has bounced back again and is in full effect. Dave jokes that to slow this guy down at all, we'd have to amputate another leg!
